The Time to Know is Now

Perimeter OCT Margin Imaging Technology

Re-excision surgeries due to positive margins are all too common. Surgeons need to know whether they have achieved clean margins during the initial surgery.

Harnessing the power of advanced technology, Perimeter Medical Imaging is driven to transform cancer surgery with advanced imaging tools. The Perimeter Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system provides high-resolution imaging to help cancer1 surgeons get clean margins in real time – when it matters most.

See the Benefits

The S-Series OCT has 510(k) clearance under a general indication and has not been evaluated by FDA specifically for use in breast tissue, breast cancer, other types of cancer, margin evaluation, and reducing re-excision rates. The safety and effectiveness of these uses has not been established. More information here.

With Perimeter's OCT technology, breast surgeons have a much better chance of getting clean margins the first time we do a lumpectomy.

Michele Carpenter, MD, FACS

I believe this technology represents the next standard of care in cancer surgery.

Amelia Tower, DO

Perimeter’s OCT technology has become integral in providing the best possible care to my patients.

Amelia Gunter, MD

OCT has helped direct my excision of shaved margins in the OR.

Beth Anglin, MD, FACS

In the OR, OCT provides ultra-high resolution visualization of my specimen. This adds to my confidence on the final margin status.

Beth DuPree, MD, FACS, ABOIM

I believe that this technology is the next giant leap in margin visualization.

Shawndeep S. Tung, MD

The S-Series OCT has a general indication and has not been evaluated by FDA for specific uses. More information here.
